The people who insist on getting offended and upset by everything are saying that Whoopi Goldberg should be fired for her recent comments about the Holocaust.
I say those people are a bunch of totalitarian idiots.
I support anyone’s right to express their opinion on any subject.
I support Whoopi Goldberg’s right to say what she said about the Holocaust.
And I also support the right of people to say that Goldberg should be fired for her comments about the Holocaust. I disagree with what they say. But I do support their right to say it.
And I also support free speech for people who disagree with me.

Yes, the Nazis did indeed refer to the Jews as a race. It’s debatable whether what they said was true. It’s an interesting topic for debate and discussion. And on one deserves to get fired over it.

The Holocaust was about race. It was the “Final Solution” in Hitler’s quest to advance the dominance of the master Aryan race.
Your comment in post 30 is the definition of a species, not a race. And even then, there’s the case that dogs, wolves, jackals, and coyotes can all interbreed with each other, but are still considered as four separate species. They used to think there was only one species of giraffe, but now some say there are 7. The African elephant was recently change from 1 species to 2, and the division was based on the pygmies vs he big ones.
I loathe people like Whoopi Goldberg who speaks out of her ass without knowing actual history. I believe, and support freedom of speech too, but responsibility comes along with it. I don't support racist comments by Whoopi. She's too ignorant, and lazy, to take the time to learn how many different groups of people in Germany were punished by the Hitler regime. She probably has no idea that black in Germany were discriminated against by the Nazis as well as Jews, and other people deemed "unclean." I posted this on FR yesterday:
Whoopi probably doesn't even know, nor cared to even find out that there were blacks in Nazi Germany. Most of them were from Germany's African colonies after WWI. Some of them were politically active, and some also belonged to the Communist party. Their political activity was suppressed. Most didn't hold citizenship to begin with. Their passports were stamped “stateless negroes.” In 1941, their children were specifically excluded from attending public school, and suffered racism in the classroom when they had been attending. They couldn't attend college or receive any kind of special job training either. Because jobs were scarce, they were drafted for forced labor as "foreign workers" during WWII. Himmler conducted a survey of all blacks in Germany. While they weren't rounded up and incarcerated as a whole, there were some blacks who ended up in concentration camps, charged with deviant or anti-social behavior. That could include homosexuality, criminal behavior, and refusing to work. Mixed-race couples were harassed into separating. Black partners of pregnant white German woman were sterilized. Mixed-race children were also sterilized. It's no wonder that many fled the country at this time.

I challenge you to produce one usage of that word race in that way before Darwin.
A race is what you win.

The Germans treated the Holocaust as a race issue; therefore, it WAS a race issue. What you might be missing is that she minimized that program as being white against white, so not that big a deal. This contains two undercurrents of thought: First, it OK to exterminate whites. Second, this is especially less a problem if whites are doing the job to their fellows. Like, for instance, liberals exterminating conservatives.
There are blacks that claim they are the real Israelites. They hate the Jewish people.
