OAKLAND, Calif. - Former California Senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted in Oakland's Jack London Square on Monday. Her personal Twitter account said, while she was not seriously injured, Boxer's cell phone was snatched by an assailant who managed to get away.
The tweet was confirmed via email by Boxer's son, Douglas Boxer, an attorney.

Will this get something through someone’s thick skull? 80 year old woman, on a summer afternoon, can’t even walk down the street. I assume this is a decent area. I know where these assualts are often taking place in NYC, right where I grew up. A decent area.

Jack London Square used to be a fine area of shops, restaurants and bars. It was a pretty good place for folks of all ages to hang out.
But this is Karma. The dems are getting exactly what they asked for.

The old saw is that a conservative is a liberal who’s been mugged. Somehow, though, I’m not expecting Babs to swing right after this incident. Shame, though, when a limousine liberal’s soft-on-crime policies come home to roost... and knock you on your ass and steal your phone.
