So I suppose the author just noticed that our cemeteries look like they had the mother of all end-of-season sales and has now decided to cover their anti-vax butts.
Got my vaccine, both shots. I caught what was probably an early case of covid the March before this past March and I was very ill for A SOLID YEAR! I actually started feeling better after the shot, which is evidently not unusual for covid long-haulers. I wouldn’t know because there were no tests at the time.
So to recap, covid can be evil-foul-no-good-very-bad and people are dying when they catch it. Your chances of catching it are much lower if you get the VACCINE (half expecting the snti-vax vampires to burst into flames).
Everyone is in their little camp. Getting all political with their health.
whatever.
Its a waste of time to post why I’m right or why anyones wrong. Most
people are firmly entrenched on what they believe. Doesn’t change the
fact that there will be consequences for our decisions today.
I might have had a mild case of this last August. I had a mild fever that lasted more than a couple of weeks. I got tested twice, six days apart, but the tests were both negative, and those quick tests are also unreliable.
So it wouldn’t surprise me if I already had it, given that there seems to be a galaxy of different ways in which COVID can present. But I didn’t want to wait in one of those Ticket Master type lines for an antibody test, so fast forward to this year, and I got the Pfizer shots.
