For many months now, Dr. Anthony Fauci has advocated that people remain masked outdoors to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
“When you are indoors, make sure you have a mask. When you’re outdoors, keep the mask on,” he said back in August, though he acknowledged that being outdoors was significantly safer than being indoors.
Now, Fauci is saying that he believes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will provide updated guidance on wearing face masks outdoors, and says it’s “common sense” to reconsider the guidance.
I call it science, but I’ll take it.
Fauci also concedes that the risk of contracting COVID-19 while engaged in outdoor activities is “minuscule.”
“What I believe you’re going to be hearing, what the country is going to be hearing soon, is updated guidelines from the CDC,” Fauci said on ABC’s This Week. “The CDC is a science-based organization. They don’t want to make any guidelines unless they look at the data and the data backs it up.”
“But when you look around at the common sense situation, the risk is really low, especially if you’re vaccinated,” he added.

Here in the free state of Florida, I spent yesterday afternoon at an outdoor establishment (Manasota Key area) having food and drinks and enjoying a pretty good live musician. Very few masks to be seen outside of the wait staff.
Y not? He’s a 5-star general in microSoftKill Bill’s eugenicist army.
This would be huge for college campuses, many of which have the students schlepping around with masks on, building to building. Would be great for athletic events such as football games, where the students could attend without the face muzzles.
I say this out of my own selfish reasons, as my daughter will be completing her last year of undergrad in the fall.

She clearly likes all the attention and spotlight, and just by coincidence, is now telling us that we need to keep the masks on and - wait for it - keep listening to the CDC for advice

As I have posted before re our hilly street, we have shamed or scared the Karens and Karls from walking on our street with masks.
The street is hilly, steep to climb and usually in the wind 5-10 mph and in sunshine most days.
Good for unmasked mortals and not good for viruses/germs.
Not good for mortals with masks.

Masks do not block viruses. Virus’s are 1,000 times smaller then the weave of a mask. The virus lands all over you as well. Sunlight kills virus’s in seconds.
Note that the tv newsreaders and talk show hosts never wear a mask and they are indoors. Never get a sniffle either while they tell us to wear a mask.

Wife and I were in a Utah COSTCO yesterday - they went “no mask” April 10. Girl at the door still wearing a mask and handed out two to us. Went around the store with mask over mouth, everyone else bundled up tight, but no one said anything.
Go past one of the sample stations - charcoal grilled chicken strips looked good - no samples on those little paper cups but they are inside a transparent plastic box. ??? I ask for one and the guy says “Until these masks come off, we can’t offer any.” Hmmm, a sample station that can’t give out samples - display only.
On checkout, the clerk is wearing a face shield, wears plastic gloves and is behind a plastic screen. “Please sir, put your mask over your nose.” GREAT temptation to ask if she is on a power trip or is she THAT afraid. She looked distressed, so I clammed up.
This Covid B/S has really revealed what a bunch of wimps many are - I never would have believed it.
True. Fauci is a fake MD to me. I doubt he had the qualifications for the job.
