This came to me after waching something that hinted at a possible Star Trek: Next Generation reboot of some kind.
GOD I HOPE NOT
IT WOULD BE JUST FOR MONEY because Star Trek....$$$$
Because most of the junk coming out is reboots and sideways reboots of things, like Magnum PI, and other junk I will never watch.
But I was thinking of what weird shows you might think theyd try rebooting in a weird/warped way, or some kind of amalgam of two shows into one show
Like, the first one that crossed my mind....
Married...With Star Trek
Married with Children crossed with Star Trek
Ed ONeill as the dad captain, Peggy the narcissistic red headed doctor, the opening phrase having Ed's voice reinsert "man" into the no man has gone before, line...

Sideways redo of Eight is Enough
If you're feeling a little whippy/stir crazy, add in somthing funny you'd think some studio weirdo might think is a novel idea ut is really just funny, whether inteded to be , or not...
Either a reboot you'd hate to see done
Or a blending of a couple,shows that would be funny/groaner bad
Interesting - A tv series based on the Serenity / Firefly universe. Perhaps a prequel where the rebellion is presented from both sides.

“Duel: The Series.” There never was one but it sounds like something greedy TV execs would pitch.
I wanted to see a vampire series where the good guys don’t try to kill them but just try to make them less metrosexual and deal with their teen angst.
Women in prison on a space colony?
I’ve always wanted to see a TV series based in Issac Asimov’s “Robots of Dawn”. Watching Elijah Bailey and R. Daneel Olivaw solve crimes would be cool.
Jeeves and Wooster crossed with Bridehead Revisited. Bertie is Sebastian Flyte’s friend, and Jeeves figures out how to save Sebastian from alcoholism. No one tries to match Bertie with Lady Julia because he is not Roman Catholic.
Jeeves and Wooster crossed with Downton Abbey (f/k/a Totleigh Towers). Lady Mary is chasing Bertie for marriage, and Jeeves saves the day as usual.
I just want a really good detective show. Gritty, but not all woke. Miami Vice meets Beretta. Something like that.
A man’s nagging mother dies, but she is reincarnated as an automobile.
Little House on the Prairie. Preteen medical genius Gregory House treats patients on the post-Civil War frontier.
A series like MASH except set in an IRS office instead of the army.
Remember the show FBI? In the remake they never catch anyone except other FBI agents.
I wish a number of TV shows had simply been better received and had much longer runs.
Freakazoid and 1977’s Quark are two that come to mind.
As for Married With Children why has nobody ever done a mashup one off with Cheers (“sometimes you have to be where everybody knows your shame, they’re never leaving just the same, you get to be where you can see, shoe sales people are all the same, you have to be where everybody knows your shame...”)
