Representative Bennie Thompson, the Democratic chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, filed a federal lawsuit against former President Donald Trump for his alleged role in inciting a riot at the Capitol on January 6th.
The Mississippi lawmaker claims Trump conspired with attorney Rudy Giuliani and extremist groups to stop Congress from certifying President Biden’s Electoral College win, which in turn led to violence.
The suit accuses Trump of violating the 1871 Ku Klux Klan Act which was passed in an effort to address the KKK and prohibits violence or intimidation meant to prevent members of Congress or other federal officials from carrying out their constitutional duties.
“January 6th was one of the most shameful days in our country’s history, and it was instigated by the president himself,” Thompson said in a statement.

Conspiracy is a crime now, of whatever sort. If two conservatives get together and decide to forego lunch that is a conspiracy and, because the two are not “woke”, that collaboration to avoid lunch is a prosecutable crime. It used to be that conspiracy had to be a plot to commit an illegal act. It is not that anymore.
Has Antifa now become “White Supremacists”? Because between that bunch and BLM, that is where most of the mischief was coming from. There also seemed to be some collusion from WITHIN the Capitol building itself, with the doors simply thrown open and the Capitol police apparently directing the advancing swarm as to which way was the best access.
“Mostly peaceable” protests. No fires started, though.
And nobody seems to know how Officer Sicknick died.
I defy him to prove this.
I look at this from this viewpoint...they have to keep the public pressure on that it was trumps doing... because they know it was the lefts doing... just like Russian collusion... and they don’t want the public to know
There was ONE alleged DEATH by gun shot due to the alleged “insurrection” on January 6th. The death was allegedly of an Ashli Babbit. The death of Ashli was recorded by a black ANTIFA member who had a political and FINANCIAL interest in recording the DEATH of a MAGA person. This ANTIFA member was at the FRONT of the alleged “insurrection” movement. Isn’t it ironic that a black man was at the front of the alleged insurrection promoting destruction, violence and death? At the time of the recording of the death of Ashli a voice was heard, “we got it!” Wouldn’t you think a WHITE supremacy movement would not let a black man be at the front of the movement??
It’s also called no standing and will get laughed out of court
Those of you with legal training can comment on how this goes forward. Proving this would seem impossible.

We need to sue Bennie for conspiracy with BLM to terrorize and destroy American cities last summer.
