Dr. Wes Van Voorhis, professor of allergy and infectious diseases at the University of Washington and director of the Center for Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases, told me that he remains cautious about the Sputnik V vaccine.
“It is an adenovirus (cold virus) vaccine, and thus, has more potential than the Pfizer, Moderna (mRNA vaccines), and Sinopharm (inactivated) vaccines to cause adverse reactions,” he said.
“I am uncertain whether it is safe because the data for large scale safety have not been released yet. … The issue for experts to endorse the Sputnik V safety is the lack of access to safety data from the large number of people that have gotten the vaccine.”

Why do we care? Has comrade joe biden dictated that we have to take it?
We used to stand up in the stands at my high school football games and point to the sky and say “Sputnik.” Most of the stadium would eventually gaze up at the sky for a glimpse of the mythical satellite.
I would think the mRNA based vaccines are the most dangerous because they are the most unknown
If I choose Russia’s vaccine instead of Moderna’s mRNA, will that count as valid on my Vaccine Passport?
I was raised not to trust ANYTHING Russian. Those astronauts that ride the vodka express rockets to the ISS are braver than me. I would take the first Redstone flight before I would sit on a Russian built chair.
The russians can't even make a washing machine that works, there's no way I'm getting anywhere near any vaccine from them.
there is an element of risk in all vaccines but I would certainly take a regular vaccine than the new USA-promoted mRNA vaccines (which involve genetics and which have never been attempted on any mass scale basis).
It is amazing that there is so little discussion about these new vaccines (and I am NOT an anti-vaccination lady, having taken many normal flu, pneumonia, and other vaccines)
Yes, thank you.
The Russians put the first man into space. Just because they “can’t make a washing machine” doesn’t mean their knowledge and skill in the biological sciences is inferior.
Actually it does. If you think anything that comes out of Russian health care is up to western standards then I can't help you.
Well the kgb/gru sure have some spiffy ways to kill people including the fancy cup of nuke tea.
Meanwhile while Jim is wrestling the Anaconda in the phone booth but nobody notices that the Ruskie’s put Sputnik V into orbit this containing a Solar Powered 8-Track playing Jimi Hendrix -Kiss the Sky.
LOL. Frigidaire is 20 years behind the Russian washing machines. I understand that Japan and Germany are making them better, but as an American.... come on.
