What he said is true. The military don’t swear to protect a person. We swear to protect the constitution of the US.
Now the way the story phrases his quote may get him fired. Needs more context. But, he’s probably on the short list for replacement now.

I took and oath to defend the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic. The Constitution is not operative when domestic enemies set it aside through fraud, and those who try to cover up that fraud and thwart the will of the people expressed through lawful votes are our domestic enemies. If Mark Milley does not stand for defending the Constitution against fraud, then he is a domestic enemy unless maybe he is a foreign one.

Uh, where is the threat to President Trump in that comment? (Note: I just read the posted heading and lead-in, I did not go to the site to read the whole thing. Thus, if Milley did make a threat against the president in the body of the article, he needs to resign his commission immediately or get fired tomorrow.)
