Thought I'd report what I've observed in Manhattan today.
Early voting started and at one particular location, on the Upper East Side, the line to vote has encircled the entire building from around 10 a.m. until now - so, two street and two avenue blocks, entirely. Yes, there is "social distancing" but this is unbelievable (someone said it takes about 5 hours to vote). On the assumption that the voting pattern for the neighborhood holds, one has to wonder what is motivating these people, their candidate (really??) or pure hatred of POTUS? In any event, I did not expect this.
Agreed! We will see lower Democrat voting on election day.
Do you think that those energized by their hatred of Trump were not even more energized 4 years ago to elect the ‘first woman president’ and yet another socialist and to vote against Trump (whom they already hated)?

Everyone sees the nationwide violent BLM wild thug mob Biden-voter riots. Yet so many people have put up “Harris/Biden in 2020” signs. This indicates that Harris/Biden voters must believe the Democrat Party’s storyline that “Trump is a divider who instigated the violence.” And it further says the majority of Americans only gloss over the news. Maybe they’ll watch a debate or two, maybe watch a little CNN and think, Yeah I guess CNN’s right, Trump’s divisiveness and racism has “sparked” all the violent riots, so I think I’ll vote Biden who seems more laid back and reasonable. Where I am in westchester, these commies would knock over a kid in a wheelchair to vote against trump. I keep my mouth shut for my kid’s sake. NYS is freakin doomed.
Fortunately it’s New York. Their electoral votes are a foregone conclusion. We just don’t want the hate Trump cancer spreading to the battlegrounds.
I don’t know. I don’t remember if we had early voting in 2016. But seems significantly up from election day 2016.
Biden is getting votes not because of his policies, scandals, platform etc., but because he is not Trump...

i don’t know it means anything or is a phenomenon. My wife’s best friend, a Trump supporting Republican, said she was going to vote today to “get it out of the way.”
What people don’t understand, in my area anyway, is they scrunched several dozen polling stations into one. If i voted early i would not be going to my usual place, which i am in and out of on election day.
I was visiting Dutchess County today. Long lines for voting. Stopped at estate sale and commented on the long line. The homeowner said yes we have to get those critters out of office. Kept my mouth shut cause I wanted to negotiate a good price. It worked. Paid 4 bucks. It’s 50 in eBay. MAGA

This is first time early voting was allowed in a presidential election in NY.

The lines in Somers (Northern Westchester County) were 1.5 to 2 hours or more. I saw a lot of Trump hats and shirts.
