Black Lives Matter leader Tianna Arata was arrested last month by the San Luis Obispo Police Department (SLOPD) after a protest she organized turned violent.
The 20-year-old California-based activist organized a demonstration involving more than 300 people who blocked a highway and attacked a vehicle with a 4-year-old child inside.
According to police, Tianna Arata assured the SLOPD ahead of the rally that it would be a peaceful protest.
It wasn’t.
The San Luis Obispo DA this week filed five felony charges against Arata, including four felony counts of false imprisonment, and one felony count of conspiracy.
She was also hit with three misdemeanor charges: resisting or obstructing a peace officer, inciting a riot, and unlawful assembly.
Arata is facing 15 years in prison.

San Luis Obispo doesn’t like stuff like this. The city is made up of college students and rich Bay Area retires. It’s a magical place—Oprah called it the “happiest city in America”—10 miles from beautiful ocean and stunning vineyards and mountains all around. A nice college town—but the residents don’t let the kids party past 9 pm (they have to shut their windows so the retirees hear no noise.)
Not surprised they don’t want BLM riots and crime.
Deferred judgment, guilty as hell, free as a bird.

Yeah, but liberal college kids in a very liberal central coast California city. I would think the liberal / marxist mindset would dominate.
A lot of our kids friends went to SLO and we’ve taken long weekends at the Paso Robles wineries and surrounding wine country, trips to Carpenteria and to Hearst Castle. It’s a wonderful place.
I hope you are right that they don’t want BLM crime, riots and anti-police BS there.
I tried to get my wife to consider the area as a good retirement place, but she wouldn’t even entertain the idea.

I should have clarified.. Democrats always allow Leftist Elites, Leftist Politicians, Leftist Domestic Terrorists to skate. They could give a Rats Ass about poor black people.
Appreciate your response. However, there are dozens of black politicians cooling their heels in state and federal prisons.
Not enough, mind you, but black jurors are quite willing to send black politicians to prison.
Now, if you say that the reverend brothers, Obuma and black racist congressional caucus are immune to prison, I agree.
I don’t know about her walking San Louis Obisbo is ONE of the very conservative areas in Ca. this bitch just might be sitting her pretty little ass in jail for quite some time!!!
