Every single NBA player knelt for the National Anthem at their season opener tonight.
Every one.
They are millionaires who hate their country.
Some held up the black power fist.
The Chi-Coms would be pleased.

While every NBA player, official and umpire knelt for the National Anthem EVERY hockey player for Boston and Columbus STOOD UP for the National Anthem.
Every single one STOOD UP IN RESPECT!

The opposite of a soccer mom is a hockey dad.
That did it. NHL players should challenge NBA players to inter-sport duel. All-star team of B-ball players on the ice against all-star team of Hockey players, and then the same thing on the B-ball court;-) They may have a few black eyes and be missing a few teeth, but this will be settled once and for all.

I’m so glad that I have never been much of a sports fan. Nothing to give up.
Until a few weeks ago, I was a strong NASCAR fan but not any more.
I’ve given it up and truly don’t care anymore. I have no idea who has won the last handful of races nor where they ran.
I did find an obscure TV channel that shows lots of various grassroots motorsports.
That’s great to see. It shows the hockey players are respectful guys and the NBA stars are the USA-hating jerks we knew they were. Too bad I don’t like hockey. (It’s just not very popular here in the south).
Okay lifelong basketball and soccer fan here. Don’t even know the rules of hockey but from now on I am going to start watching hockey.
Will never watch any NBA or NFL match again.
I never want to hear some half-educated, drug taking, spouse-beating, American athlete making 30 million a year, bashing this country or telling ME about how bad the US is!!

Hockey is fun.
Lots of action, fast paced and hopefully they will bring back the organ for the games.
The last 5 minutes of a meaningful hockey game are the most exciting in sports.....and I am still not sure what constitutes “icing.”
I wish I could boycott the NBA but I already did when their officiating went entirely corrupt to prop up Michael Jordan.
Hockey doesn’t translate well on TV, but it is, by far, the best sport to see live. Especially rinkside. Amazing.

As a veteran, if you wont respect the nation, its flag, and the anthem, then I wont respect you. The disrespect that you show to this nation and the symbols of this nation is directed and me and my service.
I willing served this nation for almost seven years. That is twice as long as the average NFL player’s career. I have endured heat, separation from my family, sleep deprivation, hunger, illness, cold, loss of friends and personal injury. Often being paid a substance salary. These players making six and seven figures then turn around and disrespect my nation and my service. Screw them.
As long as professional sports allows its players to disrespect my service and my country, I will not watch, purchase their memorabilia or follow / celebrate in any way. I now only watch the NHL.
So the American ballers knelt for the anthem and the Canadian hockey playerrs stood for the anthem. Ship the ballers to Canada and don’t let them return until learn some respect
The NBA is a subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party. Would love to see a michevious hacker replace the playing of the Star Spangled Banner with the Chinese national anthem and see the teaction.
