I didn’t watch the briefing and by evening had learned that I missed something great. Caught some of it on FOX later on either Hannity or Laura’s show.
All I could think of was when was any “reporter” that disrespectful to a president? Not since TV was invented and in my house anyway.
A lot was said about Sam Donaldson yelling at the president when he’d walk away from questions but downright disrespect and rudeness wasn’t part of his behavior. I don’t recall ANYONE who treated any president that disrespectfully. Were they never taught anything about decency?

As far as I am concerned, any major financial interest in or employment by China should be disqualifying. China is a hostile foreign power, and people beholden to a hostile foreign power should be treated as hostile as well.
China has worked very hard to spread their tentacles into all aspects of our society. We do not have to accept this. China has assumed that we will merely roll over and accept their interference, so they have not worked very hard to conceal their actions.
We do not have to accept this.
As a start, the White House should identify each reporter in the room who has ties to China, and give the President a index card with this information for each one. Then, when a reporter asks a question, the President can start by stating the reporter’s China ties, and then answer the question in that context.
Even better, the China Connections for the reporter could be displayed on the screen next to the President while he answers the question.
There is no way Paula Reid should be permitted to sit there and ask questions without having her loyalty to China on full display.
She is a Chinese operative.
