My suspicion is that China sent asymptomatic super-spreaders around the world in mid-January.
They knew by then that the virus would have a huge impact on the financial health of their country and wanted to make sure other countries had a similar impact.
Wondering if Trump knew this was happening when he shutdown the China flights.
If it really was happening, Trump knew. And Wall St. found out when our senators dumped millions of dollars of stocks.
I agree with you but I would suspect it was much earlier, maybe even November. Don't forget, flu season usually begins in October or November and all the people who got sick with it thought all they had was the classic flu since the virus was never identified until February with testing starting later........
We could get some answers to those questions if we could conduct tests for antibodies on the people who got sick back in November, December and January......
The thing I find odd is this isn't spreading in traditional vulnerable communities. Why hasn't it exploded in homeless encampments, in immigrant communities, in homosexual districts with high rates of sexually transmitted diseases?
Instead we see it in suburbs like New Rochelle NY. and suburban nursing homes.
Of course, this could be explained because wealthier people are traveling all over the world to and from infected areas. But it could also mean people are "seeding" this disease widely in different parts of the country.
We need better data on tracing.
