This attacker definitely picked the wrong church to attack. As the picture shows, there were multiple parishioners with permitted concealed handguns. Three people, including the murderer, were shot in attack just before 10 a.m. at the West Freeway Church of Christ at 1900 south Las Vegas Trail in White Settlement, which is near Fort Worth. The Shooter died at the scene after being shot by two of the parishioners. Here are a couple of quotes from the top video.

They were members not parishioners
I saw a pic with church members standing with guns pointed at the killer.Sad that one church member died.
Who chose not to be victims, in any case.
Sure, it's no guarantee, but my chances are far better with it than without.
This is the model to (unfortunately today) to protect churches. I would comment that (as it may be inconvenient) for everybody to remove jackets at the discretion of those in charge of security and may I say “pats” and PROFILING. This is the world we live in. BTW,I am just a Freeper and not an “expert”.

Don’t like that word, huh?
This parishioner was carrying at Mass this morning, as usual.
We know. There are like 10 threads already.
Better to have it, and not need it, than to need it and not have it. I CCW Mr Kimber everywhere.
He is correct by definition they are not parishioners. To be a parishioner one must be part of a parish and in order to have a parish one must be part of a denomination. The church of Christ is non denominational.
Not a matter of like or not like. It is the term that low church protestants use. It is what they call themselves.

I know that. My comment was based on the mindset of many of those posting on this thread.
