President Donald Trump tweeted on Thursday that he and his family would make Palm Beach, Florida, their permanent residence, parting ways with New York.
Perhaps the biggest upside to moving to the Sunshine State is that it’s one of seven states that don’t levy personal income taxes. Florida also has no estate tax.
New York, a high-tax state, could contest the move.

Gov Cuomo’s comment to wit “good riddance, you didn’t pay taxes anyways” should prove an entertaining scene in court.

I would think that all you would have to intend is to leave New York indefinitely, not stay in the new place indefinitely. All that matters is that you’re gone, not where you go.

A truly stupid thing to say. Cuomo opened himself up to a libel lawsuit. I hope Trump sues him to hell and back.
I’m sure Trump will use the same CPA and legal team as Rush did when he got out.
He should just put his trump Tower Penthouse up for sale. That would indicate a permanent move.
