Vanity - my wife had a major stroke on Friday en route to her job as a junior high science teacher. Fortunately, even at a high rate of speed on a twisty 2 lane road, she missed everyone, and his a intersection light pole, injuring no other person, or causing no one else and damage.
Her spirit, or soul, departed the instant of the stroke, we were assured by the doctors (as well as the lack of high speed crash injuries in a conscious person). The doctors, or more importantly, the nurses at Memorial Hermann Medical Center 7th floor Neuroscience ICU were caring, attentive, and patient.
Mrs. RoDreaming. 11 Feb 1966 to 12 Sep 2019 She is survived by me, her husband, and our three teenage girls, Bug 17, Sweets 16, and Me, 14.
May the comfort of Worship, ease your deep loss, and provide the doorway, for the peace that surpasses all understanding. The Lord will bless you, and keep you, gathering his own, unto HIM in eternity, as he reconciles all pain, with his written plan for the defeat of evil. Amen.

This is something that is so hard to go thru, and saying “sorry” just seems so inadequate.(I lost my father when I was 15) Prayers for you, your wife and especially your children.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has taken the bright, beautiful soul of this dear saint, wife, and mother, home to paradise. It is her grieving husband and children who need You O Lord. So please meet them in the midst of their grief and minister to them as only You can O Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

A memory jar has helped so many friends with their grief. Write down your positive memories and place in jar/box Each time you feel overwhelmed take one out. It will turn those low times into positive.

This is terrible news and I’m so sorry to hear this. My love goes to you and your kids and my prayers are that they are as strong as you in this major and shocking loss! My wife urges you to keep the conversations about her alive so that the kids’ memories are vibrant and unfading. She was 16 when she suffered nearly the loss of her own mom, in the nearly the exact same way! Her dad shut down and they all lost so many memories from that and the shock. Love from Colorado.
