How Would John McCain’s Replacement Be Chosen?
heavy.com ^ | Jul 20, 2017

Senator John McCain has been diagnosed with a particularly aggressive brain cancer called a glioblastoma.

If he does retire, how would his replacement be chosen?

In Arizona, where McCain is Senator, vacancies are filled by governor appointment rather than a special election. This means that Gov. Doug Ducey, a Republican, would choose McCain’s replacement.

Ducey is up for re-election himself in 2018, so it’s likely he will be very cautious about who he picks. Many are suggesting that Kelli Ward would be the safest choice, since she got 39.2 percent in her primary run against McCain. She’s already signed up to run for election again in 2018, but this time she will be running against Sen. Jeff Flake.

If not Kelli Ward, then two other possibilities would be, either, Sarah Palin, or Marilyn Quayle.

Hopefully his replacement will be a Republican this time and not another Obama loving Democrat.

PLEASE NO! He’d make a great car salesman. He has the WORST phony sounding delivery I ever heard. Who would believe anything he says? He’s out of politics for a reason.

I would never associate the word “pretty” with her, regardless of whatever you meant.

Do believe that Sarah Palin still owns property in Arizona. Her appointment would be what I would call justice.

What makes you think she wants the job?

Pete Wilson (R) of California. And that occurred
a long time ago. Don't remember when exactly.

Regardless of his remarks, he has had all three possible primary challengers to the White House to meet with him. One is already announced, in that of Ward. We know that Jeff Flake is not on the personal invite list considering what he did before and after Trump won the nomination and election. Flake is a particularly aggressive piece of dog squeeze.

Plans are very malleable things, especially when a higher order may have a differing one. McCain will not give up his “throne” and only relinquish it when the ultimate trump card is dropped. He has always been able to bully and finagle his way through life but he has no more clout than any other human on the face of this earth once the last card is dealt.

“McCain will probably announce his retirement soon.”

Hope floats like many other things. His absolute arrogance won’t let him. He will ride this all the way to the grave just to stick it in Trump’s eye.

It’ll be Meghan McCain, of course.

Article I, Section 3 of the Constitution sets three qualifications for senators: (1) they must be at least 30 years old,
Meghan's 33. Check!

(2) they must have been citizens of the United States for at least the past nine years,
Check!

and (3) they must be inhabitants of the states they seek to represent at the time of their election.
Hmm. Where does Meghan live?

Well karma caught up with McCain .
He left his first wife , Carol when she was battling cancer for the rich young
beer distribution heiress .

The Reagan's in particular Nancy never forgave him for it .

http://articles.latimes.com/2008/jul/11/nation/na-divorce11

He probably has three months but his Dem operative aides will be voting for him .

Kelli would be great but the Uniparty has other plans .
