Let’s give credit where credit is due.
Bill Clinton gave a HUGE boost to the NK nuclear weapons program when he made a “deal” with them to allow them to develop “peaceful” nuclear technology in exchange for a (wink-wink-nod-nod) promise not to pursue weapons development.
I suspect that Clinton’s assisting China to develop missile technology also feeds into that.

Eventually the US is going to have to respond in a forceful way or all the threats to shut down down the NK nuclear missile program will be seen as nothing more than hollow threats.
