Blind squirrel finds nut. ...Sort of
Barring a miracle or a disaster, President Trumps nominees are going to be confirmed. Theres essentially nothing the Democrats can do to stop it. So, when Chuck Schumer admits that in all probability Mike Pompeo will become the next CIA director, hes really soft-selling the situation.
Still, Chuck is Chuck. If he can make things more difficult for the new administration - even the slightest bit - hes going to do it. Its pointless, vain, and doomed to fail, but thats the plan. ...And, lo and behold, Meet the Press host Chuck Todd has noticed.
Make the Threat of what they did helped the planners of 9-11 because of the Senate's slow walking Bush's nominees
WTF
All Day and night votes come on Mc Connell
Chuck Schumer cannot and must not be trusted. He is about a professional liar as Hillary.
MITCH McConnell must even change the rules on the Supreme Court nominee if that is what it takes. The Democrats chose this action and it should show Republicans that Democrats are liars and thieves. Republicans need to save America while they have the chance.
This is like a foorball team who is down by 2 touchdowns or more with one minute left while the other team has the ball and using all their timeouts to delay the inevitable. Pointless.
The President has many diverse powers. Li’l Chucky may live to regret his intransigence.
Thank you, HARRY REID!!!
LOL - Amen to that...
Good analogy. I was thinking of college hoops where the coach losing by 12 in the last 40 seconds keeps calling time out. Causes the last 40 secs to last 8 minutes, and does the losing coach no good at all
Nice analogy. You reminded me of a USC-ucla football game when USC was up 21-0 with a minute or so to go. USC had the ball and took a knee, ucla called time out. The next play USC threw for a 50 yard TD to go up 28-zip. I could see The Donald doing that.
LOL, I’d like to see that more often!
Not pointless. They’ll use this to make it look like they were forced to approve these “unqualified” nominees.
