Losing the Internet one month before election
Canada Free Press ^ | 08/30/16 | Judi McLeod

Stay focused, determined and resolute until you get out to vote Donald Trump

We should take seriously all the bombs Barack Hussein Obama plans to toss in our path on his way out of the door. Most know that his coming departure is only a temporary one, given that Hillary Clinton is poised to be Obama’s third term in office.

Next big bombshell coming down the pike at America: At midnight September 30, Obama will cut off the access of millions to the Internet by abdicating Internet stewardship over to the control of the United Nations.

Why isn’t Trump making this a major issue in the next month, and encouraging Americans to rip the congressional reps and senators a new one by phone and email?

Trump should plan a huge rally outside of the Capitol and highlight this issue.

Become a ham radio operator.

Easier said than done. To legally be a ham radio operator, you have to have a license, which requires considerable knowledge in the field of electronics. The equipment is also expensive. And ham radio operators are regulated by the FCC.

Careful as to what ‘they say’. ‘They’ also said your premiums will go down by $2500 and you can keep your plan, keep your doctor.

Should ‘they’ make the decision only as to URL and IP, what would that entail....finding layers of management over your property and YOU must follow their rules just to stay in business. No matter how this is seen, internet users become internet losers.

Where in the Constitution does it give the anthropoid-in-chief absolute dictatorial control of Free Speech, or ownership of the internet, which would naturally have to precede his ability to "give" control of it to another?

This anti-American retard is really starting to piss me off.

As I understand it, it’s just IP assignments and domain names, correct? Why would the UN do it any differently then the way it has been done for decades now?

Think about this: If during a Trump administration, he does the right thing and either severly cuts our contribution to the UN, or even tries to cancel our membership entirely, how will that work if the UN controls the Internet?

Imagine how much leverage that gives this foul organization that is determined to rule the planet.

And lest you think that I'm being hyperbolic, just keep in mind these chilling words from Christiana Figueres, who is currently the UN's top climate official, and has announced her intention to seek the office of secretary general:

3 February 2015 - The Top UN Climate Change Official is optimistic that a new international treaty will be adopted at Paris Climate Change conference at the end of the year. However the official, Christiana Figueres, the Executive Secretary of UNFCCC, warns that the fight against climate change is a process and that the necessary transformation of the world economy will not be decided at one conference or in one agreement.

"This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history", Ms Figueres stated at a press conference in Brussels.

"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the industrial revolution. That will not happen overnight and it will not happen at a single conference on climate change, be it COP 15, 21, 40 - you choose the number. It just does not occur like that. It is a process, because of the depth of the transformation."

Yes it is. But it comes at a cost (what that is no one knows for sure).

The Internet works by doling out IP address. Objects on the Internet have to be like snowflakes - no two devices holding the same IP. When that happens you experience a loss of connectivity. Imagine a major switch in the scheme of things. If someone else starts broadcasting with the IP address assigned to that switch it interrupts multiple objects.

We could use brute force and reassert control over the IP’s. We could firewall ourselves away from the existing infrastructure. We could devise a different IP and DNS naming schema. Whatever we do will be extraordinarily expensive and likely destructive to the new Un-controlled administration.

It would be far FAR better if idgits like Ødungo left things that are beyond his understanding the Fck alone!

They are there precisely to do nothing that will preserve our freedoms, and everything that will advance the erosion of our national sovereignty.

They are globalists and communists: Trojan Horses of the vilest kind.

Used to be.

No more morse code either for the technician license, which is all you need for this.

$110 or so for the radio for this.

35 question multiple guess test from a 350 question pool.

Anyone of average intelligence can do the practice tests online at QRZ.COM and be ready in a few weeks, or go to a 2 day cram course and test at the end.

14 bucks for 10 years.

The new system is digital.

FCC regulates, but if SHTF, doubt they will be too concerned.

There really is little the UN (or whatever international org takes IANA responsibility) can do to mess with things. They can't do anything without the cooperation of ISP with regard to controlling DNS and the ISP also control the routing of traffic. It would not be difficult or particularly costly for US ISPs to assert themselves should anyone try any funny business.

I see nothing really happening come October 1st. Things will stay the same. This will look more like a partnership issue.
