Can We Stop Freaking Out Over Trump's Bathroom Comments?

Here's what Trump said:

“Leave it the way it is. North Carolina, what they’re going through with all the business that’s leaving, all of the strife — and this is on both sides. Leave it the way it is.” He continued, “There has been so little trouble. And the problem with what happened in North Carolina is the strife and the economic — I mean, the economic punishment that they’re taking.”

(1) Where exactly, did Trump stand up for the rights of male perverts and trannies to take a whiz or go #2 alongside with or do worse things to little girls and defenseless women?

(2) Does NC (and other states) not have existing laws that punish offenders who engage in sexual exploitation of children or lewd sexual activities in public restrooms?

All Trump is saying is that trannies, feminine men, perverts, sickos, etc have been using male or female bathrooms for eons and no one has batted an eye up until now, when it's an election year and leftist groups foolishly believe that they can create a Todd Akin-narrative to portray Republicans and conservatives as anti-transgendered or anti-discrimination or something - and right on cue you have Rafael Cruz and other gutless Republicans who didn't stand with the NC Governor on this or did jack squat when SCOTUS decreed homo marriage on all 50 states - yapping like Yorkshires and pathetically playing the Left's game.

Trump simply did not take the bait. He is saying that NC shouldn't have went through the hassle of making new law when existing laws and mores served just fine and violators would be punished under current law.

So now, Christian conservatives are angry and threatening to stay home in a snit because Trump didn't just state the obvious truth that biological men should use the Men's restroom and women should use the Women's restroom (And I wished he would have. BTW - I do NOT agree with Trump on this, but merely posting his reasoning behind his statement) and leftists are upset because they won't have a narrative to club Trump over the head with throughout the election.

Both sides lost, which is EXACTLY what Trump wanted.

Now hopefully, Trump can continue to talk about the real issues that matter and disregard these questions that are designed to alienate social conservative support from him.

I know quite a few people who certainly are more conservative than either. Does that qualify them to be president?

Or would the country be better off with someone who has actually accomplished something rather than just run his mouth and talk about theory or put out statements to win elections? Or, in other words, someone who is not a politician?

I am more interested in someone putting the brakes on Obama’s legacy and turning the country around, and that certainly ain’t the ineligible, globalist, lying’ Ted.

Trump a builder knows how much it would cost to change the bathroom policy in all commercial buildings.

Who is talking about forcing private building owners to build new facilities accommodate the latest craze of the crazy Left? Certainly not conservatives.

You and Trump seem to be confused on this issue. The North Carolina law does not dictate to private businesses what they can or can't do, as far as "gender" assignments for their restrooms go. Private businesses can do what they want in this regard.

What the NC law applies to is public buildings and schools. It provides that men bathroom users in those buildings must use the men's restroom, and women bathroom users must use the women's restrooms ... with "men" and "women" defined as per a person's birth certificate.

A genuine conservative would support North Carolina's law forbidding leftist cities like Charlotte from imposing their insane or lawless policies on the public (wanna bet Charlotte is a "sanctuary city" too)?

This whole thing is stupid. There are more important things to worry about. I grew up in a gay town (Palm Springs) and in the gay culture because I had a gay father. I oppose homosexuality, but at the same time, I grew up with Trannies and them in the bathroom was never an issue it hasn’t been until a couple of months ago. Most went to the mens room, some went to the women’s no one cared. The libs have seen this as a weak spot to make us look like bigots and evil Christians and are driving a wedge.

A few things:
1) I suspect that trannies are not the real issue.
2) The real issue is what happens when someone who looks extremely male walks into a female bathroom and when challenged says that he identifies as female?
3)This could be used to be a peeping tom or to get access to women/girls in vulnerable positions.
4) It would not shock me if no perverts thought of doing this before as noone had pointed out the possibility.

Rape is a definition of a crime, a definition does not prevent the act, it defines the act as a crime.

When you force a woman to have the rapist's baby, you are giving a right to that woman's womb to the rapist, you are saying that it is his, he can procreate with her without her consent. That is what you are saying. You are saying woman are like animals and have no say in who they get to reproduce with. Sure the rapist might end up going to jail for many many years, but he did get to father a child with the victim without her consent. And you demand that she has his baby.

May I add that in addition to what you have written, I have read accounts where rapists have sued their victims for “visitation” rights with “their” child, and judges have awarded them!

So, not only is the woman forced to carry this creep’s child, but has to SHARE CUSTODY with him and have him involved in her and her child’s life. Talk about SICK.
