CBS correspondent Tracy Smith visited with Governor Sarah Palin at her home in Wasilla, Alaska.
CBSâs Tracy Smith began her interview in a harsh fashion, asking Palin if she felt "like a loser" in the aftermath of the 2008 presidential election. The Governor didnât hedge her response, "Well sure, you either win or you lose. Itâs like dang, I wish I could have added more, contributed more positively. Maybe there was no chance that we were going to win anyway."
Smith pressed her assault, "Do you feel like youâre to blame for the loss in 2008, cause people do blame you." Palin was readily willing to accept her share of the responsibility, but also inferred that Senator John McCain bore some part of the loss, "It takes a team to win, so it takes a team to lose. I was part of a team that came in second, out of two .. Itâs semantics okay, words matter, you either win or you lose. We lost. That makes you not a winner", qualifying her response by adding, "at that time."

I was voting for Bob Barr over that stupid bastard. I voted for Palin with hopes that McCain would have lost his marbles and world be forced out
That’s because the Left hates conservatives. Would you expect anything less hateful?
I agree that her pro-life stance means she is hated by the liberals, but that she’s a Republican is also an issue with them.
I think perhaps the biggest problem is that she thinks for herself..and libs find that anyone who does exactly that to be very threatening.
Hmmm ... up to the minute reporting of what's going on right now ...
I always thought the Sarahphobic lib reaction arose from her RNC speech, which was devastating. The libs could feel how her speech was uplifting the Republicans more than anything McCain ever did up to that point.
As for the GOPe dopes’s reaction to her: she had a track record of ending corrupt establishment careers. The GOPe dopes no likey.
I remember all of those networks asking John Kerry if he felt like a loser when he was on the TOP of the ticket in 2004.
Oh wait...no I don’t remember that.
I agree with you. I had a hard time supporting Mc Cain until Palin was put on the ticket. I wasn't for McCain, I was for Palin and against Obama.
You would be more than welcome to go off on the Marxist wig, starting from when she helped get Nixon out of office.
The only down side would be the amount of time it would take to rehash a few of the main points.
Liberals HATE Sarah Palin for one reason, and one reason only. She’s conservative.
Conservatives make sense where Liberals don’t go.
Van Jones, the leftwing communist, admitted in a TV interview the left was terrified of Sarah after that speech...and for good reason.
For the leftists, Sarah HAD to be destroyed after that electrifying speech.
No they would not. That was just plain rude.
And I don’t have a week of 24/7 to keep typing everything...lol...
Among the leftists who realized that Sarah had to be destroyed was Steve Schmidt.
Republican Steve Schmidt.
Senior campaign strategist and advisor to Johnn McCain Steve Schmidt.
Trump/Palinâ¦..the no BS pair
How weird that 7 years after the election, they’re still soliciting her opinion! Does anybody seek Sen. Lieberman’s opinion on anything? How many even remember that he was Gore’s running mate in 2000? I ask honestly, because I genuinely don’t remember, who was the running mate of George Herbert Walker Bush in 1992? Does anyone give a large, barnyard animal’s backside what John Edwards has to say about anything, including marital infidelity?
Yet somehow, Palin speaks, and manna falls from heaven on the heads of these absurd presstitutes. May they soon find those heads in the hands of Muslims!
I know Sarah Palin, no idea who correspondent Tracy Smith is.
I checked. Dan Quayle was Bush’s running mate in 1992. Memorable man, that one!
Barry Goldwater’s running mate once made a commercial that joked about himself being unrecognizable without his American Express cc. William Miller.
They hate her the same way they hate Trump, she was a populist VP candidate.
