But, surprisingly to me, Cruz is catching flak from some of the Trump or Die crowd here at FR. OTOH, my sense of the Trump vs. Cruz business is that Trump, if he gets the nomination will have the Cruz supporters on his side. He will have mine.
But I could be wrong. It happened once. It could happen again.
I am a Cruz guy all the way but have NEVER trashed Trump-
I thought it best to follow Cruz’s lead on the issue, he considers him an ally for the time being.
I would suggest Trump supporters show the same respect to Cruz as he has shown to Donald Trump. He’s the only one Trump hasn’t attacked... his supporters think that means he wants THEM to do it? I doubt that greatly.
Defense is my big issue and I don’t like Trump’s softness on the Russians at all... but Trump might be my second choice anyway, I don’t like Carson or Rubio much.
I am for Trump. I think its time to put a business man in the office. If I have to settle for Cruz....life is good.
I still believe the only ticket that will be able to grab the bull bu the horns and wrestle it to the ground is Trump/Cruz in that order.
{”Trump, if he gets the nomination will have the Cruz supporters on his side. “}
So true. My candidate is Cruz but I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee; however, some Trump fans here at FR trash Cruz.
Whether or not they agree with every position, Cruz is the Conservative in the race. I notice they choose to gloss over some of Trump’s statements, like single-payer, etc.
Not according to many Cruzers here, most of the Cruzers I’ve run into say they will never vote for Trump. I will never vote for a candidate that will not commit to enforcing existing immigration laws so that rules out Cruz for now.
