I guess that when someone in the military of these 4 nations says, "F the Minister" that it could have 2 different meanings. In all seriousness, I think that the trend over the last generation to put women in important positions BECAUSE THEY ARE WOMEN is a gigantic mistake. Much of the rest of the world views women as weak and easily taken advantage of - and they're not wholly wrong (given that women have a far different emotional outlook on life than men). How did it work out having April Glasby as Ambassador to Iraq? I'll tell you how it worked out: 500,000 men and most of the front-line equipment of this nation got shipped to the Mideast to give Saddam a big spanking...ALL OF WHICH WAS AVOIDABLE is only some nasty SOB who didn't take crap from anyone had been the ambassador instead.

Meanwhile, at least the Russkies still have their heads screwed on straight.

Oh, FYI, this is a perfect example of why not to nominate iCarly or to allow the Hildabitch to get elected - NOBODY will take them seriously, and to be taken seriously they will have to literally go to war. Sorry, but having a nation go to war just to prove that a woman is just as capable as a man is not worth it.

Russia is a bit different as defense ministers have traditionally been active duty military officers heavily promoted by the military/security forces (Silovik). Even many deputies in the Duma are serving officers. (Goes back to the time when most noble men were trained as officers.)
