I call myself a conservative, and I’m also a Cruz supporter, but I will go ahead and say that if Trump wins the nomination, I will vote for him.
I am also wrestling with myself over when the Florida primary comes, do I vote for Cruz or Trump?
I dunno.
Much as I love Ted Cruz, as another poster stated up thread, he doesn’t seem to inspire.
Leaders, people with leadership ability, have the ability to inspire others.
You lead, people follow, that’s how leadership works.
I see that quality in Trump, and I don’t see it in Ted, and it makes me real sad to say that, but that is how it appears to me at this time.

A very astute observation, IMHO. Cruz may have the highest raw IQ of them all, and he probably could win a one-on-one oratorical contest with any candidate from either party.
In particular, I believe he’d be able to rip Hilary, Biden, Kerry or Algore to shreds in a Lincoln-Douglas-style debate.
But where’s the inspirational outlook of a natural-born leader? Where’s the happy warrior? Where is even the occasional heartfelt, genuine smile?
Maybe Cruz can hire somebody like a drama coach to bring him up to par in these critical areas. But I’d say he needs to hurry before the Trumpanado blows him offstage.
Primaries are for you to vote your conscience, Vote Cruz
