Please forgive any double-pings to thread thread, as I am operating off some old lists.

It is almost too late, almost, to tell folks to bloat, especially suburban dwellers.

Thanks for the ping.
Why go kicking in doors, when collaborators will gladly turn their neighbors in for a working EBT card and a bottle of Evian?
I would add the voluntary turning in of arms by unprepared sheep. No matter how much we would like to think the government does not keep a registry, we know that the background check systems have no protection and assurance of destruction.
It really is a very simple thing. You are hungry and a local FEMA office has set up to hand out food and water. You head on down and wait in line to register. You come up to your standard smiling bureaucrat (overfed and clean) who checks your ID against a long list.
Smiling back at you they keep your ID and ask about the list of weapons on the background check list. They tell you to head home and bring them back unloaded. In return you will get your ID back and some MREs and water.
They remind you they have your ID and to return quickly and there will be no trouble.
