Just a few days before, Salon also published a list of “11 times David Letterman humiliated the right.” So, he’s still part of the club, even if his finale was lily-white.

David Letterman became a wealthy man by doing a lousy show that pandered to the Hollywood, entertainment and political elites. He demonstrated (once again) that if you’re protected by those classes, you can have a long and profitable career. I enjoyed his Top 10, Chris Elliot and Stupid Pet Tricks skits until he went Big Politics in 2000, and never watched the POS dirt bag again.
He also got rich producing the TV sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond”.

This is probably one of the best pieces that captures my feelings where Letterman is concerned (from a FORMER fan).
