“Nobody wants a jerk without a clue working for them.”
I can see it now. Jerks without a clue will join together and claim they should be a “protected class” because they are being “discriminated against” when no sane employer will hire them.
I had a boss who was good at his job but every now and then it was like a switch tripped and he would haul in the entire office to hear him rant about someone who was no longer with the company.
It was stuff that he probably had no proof of or, even if he did, was none of our business.
Finally word got back to the out of state upper management about this behavior and he found himself out of work.
Problem was that in the town we worked in everyone knew about his tendency so no one would hire him.
Can people change? Yes. But outside of a head injury or a true religious experience they so very rarely do.
