Turtle meat? You must be in Georgia! I was stationed at Fort Gordon for a few years and every time I went fishing all I could catch were turtles.
As for us, we are a lot further along than we were years ago too. One of my adult kids is an advocate of prepping too so that helps.
I wish...we are way up in Minnesota. We have a small lake/pond at the edge of our property and every year we have more and more turtles around, mostly snapping turtles. It’s as if our yard and garden are their nesting grounds.
