If that should happen, and it hope it never does.
I wouldn’t be sad if several thousand PO’ed family members gave the same treatment to the scumbag politicians who passed said laws.
I might shed a single tear.
They are gonna reap the whirlwind on that law

How’s that $80 million bribe working out for ya, Remington?

So when like a 1000 ISIS terrorists are able surround a mall in New York because of our wide open borders and start executing customers like what happened in Kenya, at least New Yorker can feel safe knowing the SAFE act has insured they will die quickly without any resistance...Quickly? Why would those murderous bast@rds be in any rush? They'd just keep sawing away with dull butcher knives.

They’re getting/going to get, what they voted for. It’s going to be real ugly when - not if - it happens.

More like “when” it happens.

After the huge disappointment that was the R51, maybe Remington needs to concentrate more on manufacture and less on restructuring.

Note the R51 as example. Great concept....poor execution.

Remington’s Bushmaster line is basic junk. The uppers and lowers have all kinds of sloop in them and you need a Acuewedge to shut it up. I think they are just now addressing the trigger problem in they bolt guns after 35 years. The company is ten years behind the curve in gun manufacturing and this is costing them. Add the silly state of N.Y. and I think it’s time to get out of N.Y. as fast as you can.

I wish ISIS would try something in Texas. We don't do those helicopter feral hog hunts just for the pork.

Remington also managed to give Marlin lever-action rifles a bad name, a first in that marque's long history. The consolidation of manufacturing into the Ilion facility was Cerberus' decision, but the end result is the same - people buying from other companies.
Note that the pre-Cerberus Bushmaster facility and many of its workers are back with Windham Weaponry, whose line of ARs is getting good reviews for quality and value.

I’ll bet ISIS has already marked those states/cities that are uber-liberal in their anti-gun possession and target them.

I carry but most people in schools, hospitals, etc. do not. Do you think they would go attack gun ranges or police stations? I hope they stay the hell away from Texas.
To: jospehm20
Maybe most employees of hospitals and schools don't carry (but I think you'd be surprised) but many visitors, parents, vendors, maintenance, executives and such will be carrying, especially in the South. After my divorce I never dated a woman who didn't have a pistol in her purse in four states (AL, LA, MS and TX) but maybe they were just so afraid of me that they all went out and bought a gun and got concealed carry. LOL You know that I don't want Texas to be attacked, what I meant was that if they ever do, they'll regret it.

I wish the media would contact the rats and ask for a statement about Remington cutting 100 jobs and building a plant in Alabama.
If the rats refused to respond, that should be noted also.

Well, New York, you can re-elect that commie dictator in November or you can fire him. What will you do???
The New York legislature is just as much to blame for allowing this effin’ SAFE Act to get shoved down our throats. The senate majority leader, a so-called republican, allowed it to go vote and then voted for it. Rot in hell for your sins.

And to think, back in 1962 Thomas J Dodd and Emanuel Cellar called for the registration of all HANDGUNS only! Long guns would not be affected. Army surplus rifles would be banned from import to protect the US gun makers Remington and Winchester.
How far have we have fallen...

Less than 10% of the general population carries. In most places it it less than 1%. Don’t count on too much coordinated action from these people. I carry to protect me and mine not you and yours.
