Learning how to cook with dehydrated food is a must for any prepper. So is learning how to cook fresh ground grain but that is another thread. I cook something with dehydrated food on an average of twice a week. Aside from soups (naturally) the best thing I have found for dehydrated food is omelets. You get the yummyness of heaps of veggies without the sogginess.

Did you use a dehydrator or the sun ?
I LOVE dehydrated tomatos .... but they wouldn't last around me ... I'd probably eat a quart just sittin' around surfin' FR.
Dried 'maters have a distinct flavor all their own ... if I was God, I grow them dried.
Just sayin'

I have a Cabela’s Dehydrator sitting in my basement. Bought it 3 years ago and never took it out of the box. Perhaps I should.

Alright, Kartographer, now that’s downright cool, and yes, technical. Thanks for doing it and passing the information on!
