I saw this guy, walking slowly in front of a house, looking towards the house. And I knew he didn't live there, so that made me a little suspicious. And then he kept staring around him, at me, and behind. And it arose my suspicion. And then he was, it was raining. And, he didn't look like he was in a rush to get out the rain... Two or three weeks prior to that, I'd seen somebody looking in a window of the house that he was in front of... And, the guy that lives there, I know, he's active in the neighborhood watch, and he's Caucasian.
I think Bob Beckel and the most of the ring leaders know exactly what they’re doing.
That one.
This is just what GZ said. It does not mean he was telling the truth. We do not know what the truth really is. I have been profiled for wearing a hoodie at night at a walk track. And I was 50
I saw a kid out of place in my neighborhood two summers ago. My neighbor had just been robbed and I knew the description of the boys that did it. The kid I saw was carrying a strange bag walking up and down the streets in the middle of the day. I followed him and then called the police. He ran between houses when he realized the police were looking for him.
Was I profiling? Yep, and I had good reason for it. We all would have done the same.
Really and just what part of a lie detector test are you unfamiliar with???
He said it every time he was asked and twice during lie detector tests which he passed without deception.
And we know for a fact that Martin was a jewel thief as his school records indicate.
And when he was still missing the next morning his father called juvenile hall and then the adult detention facility before calling police missing persons.
Are those the phone calls of a father who believes that he has raised an innocent little Skittles child or a father who knew that his son was into some bad thing.
We do not know what the truth really is.
Sure you do -- you and the Martins and their halfwitted followers are just living in denial of it.
Has anyone asked where Trayvon got the money for his gold teeth? And his cool clothes and smart phone? If his parents didn’t pay for that stuff then they knew he was stealing ... They should have been asked about it.
And was your response to that assaulting the person who was suspicious of you?
just picture looking out in the dark on a rainy night and see someone (ANYONE) standing in front of your house looking at it
or walking around in the backyards
would that freak you out or not
The “profiling” that Obama is trying to imply is based on race, not an article of clothing. An article of clothing is a voluntary decision that usually expresses something about you and which you have chosen to wear to make that statement, show your membership in some group, etc.
My son - who is 100% white - never had any problems with the police as a teenager in a small CA city - until he started wearing a type of leather jacket that was very popular with thuggish white kids at the time. It was also popular with heavy metal singers, and he was wearing it because he was going through teenage music-that-drives-your-parents-mad stage. He was not a criminal or associated with any gang.
However, one evening he ended up being forced to lie spread eagled on the ground by a highway while the highway patrol pointed a gun at his head - because they had been on the lookout for someone wearing that type of jacket who had robbed a convenience store. Fortunately, they found that the city police has already caught the other guy, so they dusted him off and let him go. He dropped the jacket from his outfit soon afterwards...
The “hoodie” is associated with a certain type of behavior, and whether or not you actually engage in such behavior, people will be a little worried about you until you prove by your actions that you are simply wearing it to keep warm or for whatever non-crime related reason.
This is a normal human reaction and has has nothing to do with race. Visual signs are what allows any animal to detect danger, and the hooded sweatshirt has become one of those signs.
Incidentally, our white thugs here in Florida often wear them, probably because it makes it easier for the to hide their faces while they are committing a crime.
For some reason, the popularity of hoodies seems to follow the advent of security cameras.
“Okay do you want to just meet with them right near the mailboxes then?”
Might he have gotten out of the car to go to the mailboxes to meet the cops?

Look at Natalie Jackson — she has aged about 20 years in the last year
I like that, “subsociety” rather than “subculture”. There is nothing cultural about it.
Yes, I suggest some expensive boat shoes, no socks, khakis, a pink Addidas polo and a white cardigan sweater draped across his shoulders like a cape, with the sleeves tied in a loose cross-over knot on his breast.
Very Florida haut culture.
Here is a crucial point in the story. People who believe Zimmerman was guilty believe that he was FOLLOWING Trayvon AFTER the dispatcher told him NOT to follow him, blatantly disobeying the dispatcher. (It's not illegal to disobey a dispatcher and that argument is beside the point anyway).
Here's the point: Zimmerman got out of the car to get the street number off the house to give to the dispatcher so the cops knew where to meet him, NOT to follow Trayvon. As he said, he didn't even see him anymore at that point. And the reason he didn't see him at that point was because Trayvon was hiding in the bushes and when he saw Zimmerman walking back to his car, he jumped him.
You make a very good point among many, but the truth doesn’t matter in the least little bit to the race industry, the media, or politicians.
I’m concerned with otherwise “normal” people I personally know who are under the misconception that Zimmerman was guilty because their only source of information is the network news. And there are tons of them. It just bugs me. You’re right about the race baiters.
