There has been speculation, mostly kicked off by Reddit that missing Ivy League student Sunil Tripathi could be involved in the Boston bombing. He went missing last month without a trace. The FBI became involved in the case, even though it was a presumed suicide.
Tripathi was a philosophy major at Brown University, not far from Boston, where the search expanded to. His father is a rich software engineer.
Right after he went missing, explosives were found near Brown University and destroyed in a controlled detonation. No one had been found behind it.
The first incident was reported at 8:34 p.m. on March 12. Police and fire personnel responded to the area of Pine Street and Tower Hill Drive. Witnesses at the nearby Target store on Washington Street reported seeing a bright flash and hearing two explosions from that area.

When he went missing his family started a Facebook page that i went to a couple hours ago. I just tried to go to it and its no longer available. Looks like his family has seen the FBI pics as well..

If that is...the person to the left of him might be suspect #1
Sunil is listed as 6’2, way too tall to be suspect #2. Also, the FBI was called in on his case, they have a file on him, and would have found a match in their database if he was #2.

I suspect after all the comments they were getting on there that they took it down.
His dad is pretty well known in his industry and all that that they have said (and those that knew Sunny) had said prior seemed to indicate him being extremely close to his family and seemed likely they thought he may have killed himself based on the note he left (and everything else he left behind)
With almost every sleuthing/forum type site now posting they think he could be one of the suspects, I would think taking down the site sort of makes sense. I mean, at this point no one is going to post anything related to his disappearance on it...it’s just going to be accusations I’d suspect.
Not saying he might not be involved, but I also can’t say I blame his family for taking down the FB page. I would have too.

Sandra Marques I haven’t seen it on the news yet, and it’s all I’ve been watching since Monday, Jay just said “enough” and finally changed the channel.. However it does kind of look like him and it’s an theory plus I’m sure the FBI has seen it. Hmm must watch the news.
