Schools have been overreacting for many years. About ten years ago, a friend’s teenage son accidentally left a pocket knife in his jeans from the weekend family fishing trip and put those jeans on to wear to school the following week. During school he notices bulge in pocket, says what’s this and takes out closed penknife. Totally innocent but two female classmates run to teacher with news he has a weapon. Cops are called, parent is pulled out of work to get kid from police station, kid suspended from school and cops have him doing 500 hours of washing their cop cars.
It might have been 100 hours of washing cars. The kid had a weekly schedule and it went on for many weeks and I remember at the time thinking it was excessive punishment.
Fking Bull Shiite.
You shouldn’t need a license to own a gun and the cops shouldn’t be allowed to take your property on a hunch or mere hearsay.

Public schools are communist indoctrination centers, pedophile magnets, generally abusive of children and free fire zones for psychopaths. But they do have great programs for keeping vegetables STD-free.
NO! Leave them there. When they move they take their attitudes with them. I see in in Florida and see it in Georgia. Yankee liberals leave the sh!holes like NY, NA, NJ, etc. because of the high taxes and lack of jobs. The first thing those arrogant ignoranuses do is look around them and think "Look at how poorly organized these people are. They don't have gun registration. They don't have welfare outreach. They don't have green space laws. They don't pay teachers enough. etc."
Having previously sh!t where they ate and befouled their own nests to the extent that they have to move, the first thing they do is try to make their new home exactly like the old one. They vote for Democrats because Republicans are "not compassionate." They are agast at the lack of laws controlling every aspect of their lives. In short they hate loath and fear freedom and do their best to remove it from themselves and the rest of us too. New York is the least free state for a reason and that reason is New Yorkers. They like it that way.

Solzhenitsyn understood. I'm not sure very many citizens in the USSA today understand. The police and the rest of the government understand. THAT is why they want gun control. gun registration. etc. They want to remove our means to resist. If you don't have the means, then having the will to resist is meaningless.

Why the exception? Here in Texas, we found 80% of our schools are now using CSCOPE, practically overnight. If you know what CSCOPE is, that would scare the hell out of you. And, at 80% in TEXAS, they’ve penetrated DEEP into the most conservative areas of the state.
...and it is no surprise to us Thomas Sowell disciples. He’s explained, clearly, that the people in our public schools (i.e., every last one of them), all have the same background, which are university “Schools of Education” that are designed to assure total left-wing control...even in the reddest of areas.
