I don't think so. Liberty oriented conservatives, and Libertarians are frequently very religious people who believe that (a) government is subservient, at best, to natural, God given rights, and (b)people should be free to make their own choices regarding religion.

By the very act of not basing ALL of their decisions, political or not, on the laws of God, they disprove the notion that they are Christians.

There is zero tolerance with God for sin, and he has already provided the model to be used for good governance in the Old Testament.

Do remember...radical Muslims also desire theocracies. While I agree that no nation can survive without morality, please show me where in the constitution or declaration of independence it says one has to be ‘Christian’...many of the founding fathers weren’t.
