Would love to leave now, but waiting for the housing market to pick up a bit. Don’t want to take a complete bath on my house.
I have already sold my house (for about half of what it was worth), banked the proceeds and moved in with my batchelor son whose business has tanked, so we’re helping each other. I am driving a 10 year old car, but I have a very good mechanic who is my son-in-law. We have an antenna for TV and my son has wi-fi for my computer. I don’t have a land-line phone, either. And I gave up eating out and junk food, and I’m trim and healthy. I’ve gone Galt!
