I'm requesting prayers for my family. We are having lots of medical problems. My husband had prostate cancer surgery in December. The initial reports are good, and the path report indicates they got the cancer. However, the cancer was upgraded to a stage 3 gleason of 7. He goes in for follow up testing the middle of March.
In the meantime, my 15 year old daughter is having finger spasms. I thought it was going to turn out to be nothing, but last week the neurologist says it's a degenerative disease called dystonia. She's a really good flute player (only freshman in honor band, solo award at the Folsom Jazz festival), but she can't play now. She's having a hard time writing. I think the spasms are moving to her other hand.
We're taking her to both Stanford and UCSF for other opinions.
I already have a daughter with a brain injury. She's doing well now, but she still has a hard time with writing. We are also trying to wean her from anti-seizure medication.
We could really use prayers this month. Please pray that my husband's surgery got the cancer, and the original neurologist is wrong about my daughter.

You cannot get your D levels up when you’re dificient in mag. No matter how much you take your levels will stay low until you get your mag levels up. Some mags are VERY cheap and, consequently, do not absorb (ie mag oxide) so you need to get on a highly absorbable type.

magnesium glycinate by Metagenics. Take 6 tabs per day but build up to that as even the most absorbable mag can cause diarrhea early on.
