No one outside of the Republican primary voters, and leftist activists are paying attention to the the race, I have no doubt when Gingrich steps on the national stage to take on Obama, his numbers will improve drastically in the general election.
This “he’s not electable” is nonsense.. He’s the only person in the race who is remotely challenging Obama directly on policy and philosophical views, and has the stones, experience and intellect to truly make the election an ideological one, not a tit for tat who can smear the other guy better. The libs always have a better smear game, so thinking that an avoid confrontation and conflict race is going to work is nonsense.
My thoughts exactly. Newt turned it around on a dime in SC. He can do this on a national stage. Right now, my guess is not many Dems have been watching Republican debates. Newt does take Ronnie’s torch..he, too is a Great Communicator.
