Unfortunately, this detailed description raises more questions than it answers. Note the M.O. of securing a fake ID. Unless I’ve completely misunderstood Ayers’ method, it was: 1. Find a BABY who died early and never applied for SSN. 2. Apply for SSN using that baby’s name. Suddenly you are on paper a different person with a legitimate SSN. But the key is to find a baby whose current age would be roughly similar to yours. Otherwise, there’d be a risk that someone might notice you are not an 87-year-old, but instead a 20-something.
So if BHO were using Bill Ayer’s standard method, the last person in the world he would have used is the SSN of an 87-year old. If Bill Ayers had more than a hundred IDs of babies born in 1940’s and 1950’s, how hard would it have been to obtain one of a baby born in 1961 (or used one of the 1950’s babies for BHO’s new SSN)?
Thus, a theory that “sort of fits” at first glance seems to fall apart upon more serious inspection. I appreciate all the replies various posters have offered to address the things that puzzle me, but none of the responses provides a complete theory devoid of these bothersome inconsistencies etc.

I disagree. The claim of an 87-year-old being “associated with” that SS# seems to me to be more likely to fall apart.
First, there is no death record for this SS#, which there would be for a person born pre-1900, while there would be no death record for a 1961 CT baby who happened to die and whose identity was stolen by Ayers and given to Obama. It would be extremely risky to go with pre-1900 SS# as the basis for a SS identity which would extend post-2000!
Corrupting the SS Admin. database to enable Obama to get a new identity in 1986 would seem to require a "conspiracy theory" involving SS Admin employees during the Reagan Admin., which is not needed if Ayers used a dead 1961 (or subsequent year) CT baby for Obama who happened to have received an SS. Ayers could have applied for the SS# in 1977 himself and kept the identity alive and ready for future use, as it may have turned out... by Obama.
The “associate with an 87-year-old” speculation is based on a stray entry in a data field and is not corroborated anywhere else that I have seen with a birth date, name, location or anything.
I used to work for the Social Security Administration as a Benefit Authorizer and I can assure you that there is a lot of erroneous data in the records.
Ayers may not have put ALL of his illegal identity theft methods into his book.
The method Bill Ayres used (birth certificates of dead babies) to get new SSN’s is not owned solely by Ayres nor was it copyrighted by him. Back around 1991 Lawrencia Bembenek used this same method to get the fake ID she used when she escaped from prison and was on the run in Canada. This method of creating new ID’s is hardly new and probably criminals have been doing it for years before Ayres did.
So...maybe Ayres didn’t help Barry out with a new ID and SSN 30 years ago. Maybe it was the Typical White Woman granny and maybe she botched it by selecting the wrong person...that is an 87 year old man and now Barry and thugs are trying to play catch up in covering the blunder.
