I was also Tim Ayers classmate at Glenbard high school. Mrs. Ayers was a great source of information whether it was her sons or that young blackman from Kenya that she just bubbled over with great enthusiasm that they were helping out. According to the late Mrs. Ayers they were also trying to get Bernadine Dorne into the New York Bar Assoc. Thomas Ayers political influences were everywhere not just in Chicago. Not only did I meet Bernadine at the Ayers home ( she lived there for a short time ) but a very young man who introduced himself as Barak Obama who had come out from Chicago on the train that morning to thank Mr. Ayers for his help in his schooling ( Columbia ? ). We had a short conversation about how nice Mr. and Mrs. Ayers are and that he ( Obama ) is going to be president of the Unitet States. Yes, he did say that! This was in the mid 1980's if my memory is right about the time line. Mr. Ayers is about 95 or 96 and living with his son Bill in Chicago according to son Tim whom I had a political argument with at our class reunion two years ago. The whole family is Marxist!
