“Just noticed that “Ann’s” 1983 trip was on little Barry’s birthday. 8/4/83”

Originally Factcheck claimed Barry automatically lost his Kenyan citizenship on August 4, 1982 when he turned 21, one year before Stanley Ann's trip. Factcheck was subsequently forced to submit to the superior factchecking of Leo Donofrio showing that there was a two-year grace period, so Factcheck modified their claims to say Barry lost his Kenyan citizenship on August 4, 1984, one year _after_ Stanley Ann's trip.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama_citizenship_conspiracy_theories

“FactCheck noted that Obama had indeed been a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies (CUKC) under British law, by virtue of his descent from a Kenyan father at a time when Kenya was a British colony, and lost CUKC citizenship and became a Kenyan citizen when that country gained independence in 1963. However, Kenya's constitution prohibits dual citizenship in adulthood. Obama had therefore automatically lost his Kenyan citizenship at age 23, in 1984, by failing to formally renounce any non-Kenyan citizenship and swear an oath of allegiance to Kenya.”

How does Factcheck KNOW that Barry “automatically lost his Kenyan citizenship...by failing to formally renounce”???

Were they there in Kenya at the time? Do they have sworn statements from Kenyan authorities at the time an full access to the historic Kenyan records? Of course not! Has Barry ever been deposed under oath and declared that he did NOT renounce his US citizenship?

Alternatively, if Barry's father's marriage to Stanley Ann was bigamous, Barry would not have received UK citizenship under the 1948 BNA and thus would not have transitioned to dual UK/Kenyan citizenship in 1964 when Kenya became independent and thus would not actually have had any Kenyan citizenship to renounce.

Did Factcheck ever try to confirm whether Kenya ever considered Barry to be a Kenyan citizen and under compulsion to either affirm his Kenyan citizenship or lose it?

Factcheck should rename themselves “Factspeculation”.

It seems certain that Stanley Ann was there in time for Barry to affirm his Kenyan citizenship, if Barry was also there with her. What a perfect chance for her to share with Barry his cultural inheritance from his alleged father, which she was supposedly always keen to do while raising Barry.

Except Auma admits there's no legal records of her marriage to Senior so all Ann had to do was bring along the divorce records with little Barry named and viola! there's the legal marriage and Kenyan citizenship. Then they drag along Professor Alice Dewey of UofH so who's going to question a professor where Senior attended. Interesting timing - after Senior died but before the citizenship timeframe expired.
