That's an odd looking photograph.
The car in the background is a 1961 Pontiac Tempest. The lighting of the background does not match that of the child, which would be consistent with a flash photo--but how many amateur photographers were shooting flash photos in the early 1960s OUTDOORS with color film which was still expensive and not commonly used??? Does it look like the tricycle is really on that pavement???
