MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell doesn’t think much of what Donald Trump is doing with all this birther stuff and his fake run for the 2012 Republican nomination for president. And neither do I. We said as much on O’Donnell’s show “The Last Word” on Friday night. In fact, I went a step further and did something I’d done once before when talking about the persistent and long-debunked conspiracy theory that President Obama is not a U.S. citizen: I showed his birth certificate on live television.

Doesn't he realize that he is insulting our intelligence by his laughable display of an Obama birth certificate that we seen over and over on the internet during the past 2 years?
Capehart obviously downloaded one of those old Obama "birth certificates" that we see on Obama's site and that we could download ourselves in a few seconds.
Of course the obvious giveaway that Capehart's Obama birth certificate is one he downloaded from one of those Obama sites is the blacked out number at the top of the page.
Capehart is too funny. That is, I hope he is trying to be funny, because if he is trying to be serious, then he should turn in his journalism credentials because of this stupid move.
Now, if Capehart did something like the following, then maybe I will stand up and take notice: He says that he got permission from Obama to ask Hawaii officials to send him,Capehart, a copy of Obama's birth certificate without the numbers blacked out and with the Hawaii official seal prominently displayed. Capehart then tells us that it this new Hawaii birth certificate that he is going to show us.
I'm sorry, Capehart, but you insult my intelligence when you try to pass off an Obama birth certificate that we have looked at over and over for the past 2 years as a valid and never before seen Obama birth certificate. Give me a break.

I can’t see video on my computer. Did they print out a page from the Factcheck site and show that, or what? Are they claiming to have the actual COLB that Factcheck says they photographed?

Not the way the world works. At times a few become wise, and look back and are amazed at how ignorant they were. But no one ever realizes how ignorant he is, when he is ignorant.
