Backroom deals wont do Tennessee much good if Americas national security is compromised.
Tennessee Senators Lamar Alexander (R) and Bob Corker (R) must not have considered national security when they decided to vote in favor of ratifying the dangerous New START Treaty. They also failed to research Russias alliance with countries like Iran, China, North Korea and Venezuela.
It appears the Tennessee Senators were interested in bringing home the pork at the expense of our nations security. Zachary Roths December 23rd article states:
It will likely include more than $6 billion dollars for a uranium processing facility, to be built at the Y-12 weapons compound in Oak Ridge, Tennessee (pictured). Indeed, the states' two GOP senators, Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander, both said that money for modernization -- and therefore, in all likelihood, pork for their district -- was a key condition of their support.
Senator Corkers voting record has been relatively honorable, so it would be disgraceful if he betrayed the best interest of our country only to cave for a backroom pork deal.
Progressive Senator Lamar Alexanders voting record is a different story. Here are just a few Progressive nuggets in his voting record.
Food Takeover he voted Yes on S.510 which now gives the federal government fascist control of our food supply. Liberals and conservatives who researched this bill opposed it.
$15 Billion Slush Fund He voted Yes on HR 2847 which gave Obama another $15 Billion Stimulus for his special interest union pals. Under the guise of an infrastructure Jobs Bill, unemployment has risen since its passage on March 17, 2010 and Obama admitted publicly that there are no shovel ready jobs.
Forced Volunteerism and Child Recruitment He voted Yes on HR 1388 which recruits children from our public schools and universities to become part of Obamas Civilian Security Force. Required reading for this program includes Saul Alinskys Rules for Radicals.
Sonia Sotomayor Confirmation He voted Yes for a racist Marxist to serve on our Supreme Court.
Lamar Alexander is up for re-election in 2014. Unless he openly recognizes the damage he's inflicting on our country by voting for unconstitutional legislation and a dangerous treaty, its time to search for someone else... a constitutional and fiscally responsible person who can run against him in the 2014 primary election.

This woman really chaps my hide. She would'n abide the primary loss and is now back there to wreak havoc and let slip like a dog of a whore.
I have a method to reduce that effect.
It is TIME to DownSize DC! Close entire departments beginning with the U.S. Department of Education. (EPA, HS, etc)
Force Congress to telecommute most of the year from their home district, away from the lobbyists and under the thumb of the electorate. Can you imagine the cost savings? And it would change the center-of-gravity of the Federal Government away from Washington.
The Texas legislature meets every 2 years unless the Governor calls a special session. It has worked well for a long time, there is no reason that the Federal Government could not adopt a similar method. The Constitution states that Congress shall meet once per year and specifies the date (has been changed). It states nothing about duration of the session or if there will be more sessions during the year.
It is TIME!
Her write in win is a product of Sen. Cornyn’s help from the RNSC legal team and the Dems who made a “deal” to re-elect her. They could not win with a Dem label candidate, so they supported a defeated Pubbie label candidate who they now own.....
Folks in AK, you were bought or have been sold out. Not like your state and I am sure that many are embarassed about it.
I believe that they willingly sold themselves. And very cheap.
Corker and Alexander sent emails to donors with the fine print. I WANT TO SEE THAT FINE PRINT.
