Who is your best guess for a surprising 2012 dark horse candidate?

Just as Mike Huckabee came pretty much from out of nowhere to win the Iowa Caucus in 2008 I'm sure there will be dark horse candidates in 2012 who will surpass expectations.

Who do you think will do far better than expected in the primaries.

Pat Paulsen!
2012 could finally be his year.

Hey, Democrats can elect dead candidates. Why not us?

The one man that can draw the most support "Haley Barbour" and has all positives and no negatives.

Sadly, we’ll probably be stuck with the useless idiot the cross-over Dem voters “choose” for us, a la McLame.

Heh....who's the one looking for a "dark horse" candidate to swoop down out of nowhere to save you from Sarah of The North?

You guys really tickle me with your Palinoia. LOL

Who is your best guess for a surprising 2012 dark horse candidate?

Bob Dole??? It's his turn.

John McCain??? It's still his turn.

Jeb Bush??? It's a family thang.

Romney??? It's a hair thang.

Bugs Bunny??? Why not?

Yeah. But hardly a dark horse. He has been a far far better govner than many here, including myself thought he would be. Perhaps a Christie / Barber ticket or vice versa? I could back either.

Barbour-Daniels, Barbour-Christie, Barbour-Pawlenty — any of these tickets work for me. The “double governor” theme would be a winner, especially when compared to Ø’s executive incompetence.

And I guess Christie would be my favorite for VP, since he and Barbour would be able to play the “double your fat” leitmotif for all it’s worth.

He would be a great president but an even better SoS. I would certainly vote for him. With Bolton and Keys at state we could clean foggy bottom up.
