Does anyone know the best way to store lard. Store bought real lard (not Crisco). It comes in a box. Should I freeze it, refrigerate it or just keep it on the pantry shelf? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Last time I cooked a good breakfast, it included corned beef hash, fried eggs, fried corn meal mush, butter and syrup, coffee, juice and milk.

The best, and it’s not even close. East to make using frozen bread dough...they freeze well!

Ground beef or pork, onions, cabbage, in a bread pocket...I sprinkle in a little grated Havarti or Gouda.
