Vote in Our Poll: Who Do You Support for 2012?
Pundit Press ^ | 11/7/2010 | Thomas Ferdousi

This poll is an amalgam of those who are most likely to run. Chris Christie is not on this list because he has consistently denied running in 2012, so he may be a 2016 contender. All of the rest have either openly spoken about it or have been mentioned. If we forgot someone, please comment who you would support. I know that 2012 is two years away but for many it's too long of a wait!

Did you include Mitt? I luv Mitt. ;-) Any Mittens here on FR?

I would like Christie if he was better on guns, abortion, deporting illegals and he was not such a raving Springsteen fan. Besides that he would be great.

DeMint, Pence, Tom Coburn, Bachmann, Ken Cuccinell in VA, Allan West over Rubio, Joe Arpaio and a few others.

A name to throw in there, Rick Perry. He’s definitely interested in running.

“Jim DeMint”

Bingo! Love the guy.

DeMint did a super job in 2010 trying to get conservatives elected while Rove and other RINO scum sabatoaged many with the TV media - including Fox.

How do you know? You don’t have a TV and according to you, only idiots watch TV.

In addition, your page reads:

“I like Bjork and Royskopp. I live near Reykjavík.
In Iceland we have the world’s oldest parliamentary democracy. We would never elect a Muslim like Obama.”

LOL.

I love FR for the many true supporters of our country (expressed in a great way by supporting Sarah).

I had a slight moment of hesitation with the painful loss of Angle. I love Sarah, but is she really the best person to win (and win we must)? And mainly that is a viable question because half of our country sucks right now.

Then I remembered Sarah’s pin in West Virginia while campaigning for Raese. Israel and America together.

Then all my (slight) doubt disappeared. We’ll win with Sarah.

I like Palin, but I'm afraid the MSM has been successful in "O'Donneling" her. Christie seems to be a good old fashion Reagan fiscal conservative, but I've heard he more of a centrist on social issues. As for Romney and Huckabee, I really hope they decide not to run. I was seriously underwhelmed by them in 2008 and the party needs some new blood.

So the short answer is, I don't have the slightest idea who I want to see in 2012.

We don't need a candidate who partied in the streets for the streets for the Kelo vs. New London decision the way Palestinians partied on 9/11.

Yes but my father here in Iceland owned a Rambler from AMC Motors run by Mitt Romney’s father. George Romney was also the governor of Michigan. He was a good conservative like his son.

None of the above, for now. Of the ones I kinda like, Rubio, is, like Obama, too young and inexperienced, and Jindahl’s speechified his way out of contention. Sarah, sorry, is, too unpolished and screechy, and Haley Barbour, not long ago, kept a Jeff Davis Confederate flag on the wall in his Mississippi office. Not that there’s anything wrong with maintaining and displaying such a valuable artifact, but anyone with American Presidential aspirations might have another think coming.
