Someday folks will admit she was a terrible candidate. Just because the MSM mistreated her and she's a conservative doesn't mean she ran a good campaign. Her silly "I'm you" and "I'm not a witch" ads were the biggest self-inflicted wounds of any major race.
She was mistreated by the press, but she gave them the tools to do it.

Politics is local first and foremost. The people of Delaware know her or she wouldn't have made it this far. Those who sneer at her "silly" ads (you, Karl Rove, and others) may just be surprised at the outcome.

If she’s such a terrible candidate how did she beat a 9-term incumbent Congressman who was also a former Governor?

And I haven't seen anyone who yet ran a perfect campaign.
As for the ad not convincing anyone, it might well convince Republicans, who are still unsure about her to vote for her.
Even if she doesn't win, she did accomplish one service already to the nation, she defeated Castle.

If you mean the ‘I am not a witch’ thing, there are mixed reactions to that. I didn’t think it was that bad.
I watched about half of the commercial and it was good.
She’s appeared on a few shows I’ve seen and come across well.
She’s been viciously attacked and not supported by the Republican elites, but she’s kept working and kept smiling.
So, what exactly is your beef with her campaign?
To all you people who claim to be conservatives, but spew your garbage about Cristine and others, I say what good is all the negativism going to do. If you are so above these candidates get your asses out there and run for something. Don’t come on here and spread negative thoughts and indecisive mutterings unless you are willing to walk the walk to prove that you can do better. Now is the time for unity among us if this country is going to survive. This is the real deal and it transcends politics. This is a battle for our very lives and our future way of life. I mean it. If you are a true conservative and patriot you will not talk down on a fellow conservative who is giving their heart and soul for the good of the people. Now is the time to for us all to stand together and be strong. It’s only a few hours more, but the battle has yet to be won. We must all vote to win.
