Yes, and they couldn’t change actors. They just have to expect the fans to accept the situation for what it is. If they’d known how it would turn out all along, they could have shot seven films in seven years with the live cast, and then put in extra time on the special effects, spreading out the release over a longer period.

You never know when a movie based on a hit book series will be a hit or a miss.

Harry Potter- Hit.

Percy Jackson- Miss. Sadly I don't think there will be a sequel. I enjoyed the books but they ripped the heart out of the story in the movie.

Maybe in a few years they will redo the movie and this time get the story right. After all it took forever to get Narnia right.
