I believe that Marco Rubio will wind up benefiting from Rick Scott’s primary victory. Scott will do all the heavy lifting already beginning his attacks on Obama, Reid and Pelosi while Marco will just ride his coat tails.
Don’t forget Broward County especially Fort Lauderdale. The gays are heavily concentrated there also.

Florida is the creme de la creme in the election. If FL goes back to a red state, he’s history in 2012 and he knows it. Mooshell will force him to do whatever he has to do to stay in the WH. She not be givin’ up her new lifestyle and getting it for free. No she not.

Spoke with my brother in Fl. about Christ....says people don’t like him but concerns over Rubios affiliations awhile back could hurt his chances if Christ puts them out there.
Post the proof. It will be of interest to the Florida electorate.

Yes, that is my understanding as well...I like rubio and told him that...he’s cautious....doesn’t like either of their background. Our conversation will continue no doubt and I will be e-mailing links to FR on the matter.

I’ll also do some ‘fan’ letters lamenting O,s lack of backscratching to those arts ‘bigs’ who did so much for him (as a concerned prog/dem of course).

The MSM out here is actively working for Crist, although Meek’s speech on Tuesday sent them into ecstacy. They know he can’t win though, and Crist is their real boy.
Crist gave the teachers here a huge victory by vetoing a bill here recently, and he is their new adoration. It’s all geared now to how to let democrats know that Crist is the favored one, without making a big deal on how far left he is moving so moderate republicans can be conned into voting for him. I’m sure that’s what the Obama conversation is about.
Rubio has been tied by the MSM to a credit card scandal. You know the way they play it - when a person comes out that may turn out to be a powerful Republican, tar them fast before they become known by the electorate. Sort of like the MSM did to Palin - get rid of them before they are a threat.
I spoke to some conservatives in church who are not super political, and they don’t trust Rubio. Rubio needs to overcome that if he wants to win, because nobody really likes Crist either. He’s political sleeze, and people are aware of that.
Crist will drop out and, in exchange for endorsing Meek, Big O will give him a job. Oh, and Meek STILL won’t win.
Yes, Rubio needs to overcome that and I assume that is what my brother was referencing....but when you put Crist and Rubio, point by point, next to each other it is very obvious who the better man is in every respect. Some might think it is taking the lesser of the two evils....well then pick the lesser just the same...otherwise Floridians will be fully dancing the Obama jig!

The Talk of the Green Iguana

The rumors about Florida Gov. Charlie Crist and the Green Iguana just wouldn’t go away.
The story goes that the Florida governor frequented the Green Iguana, a bar in Tampa, back in the early 1990s when he was just starting his political career. He was less careful back then, people say, and during his partying at the Green Iguana, he was openly gay.
When I got Rick Calderoni, the bar’s well-known owner, on the phone, I expected him to stonewall me about it.
He didn’t.
Calderoni, who is gay, confirmed that Crist came into his bar quite often and that the two of them became friends.
Getting to the point, I asked him if he knew Crist to be gay.
“Yes,” he answered bluntly. “I just wish he would come out and admit it. That would be a great thing if he did.”
I asked Calderoni if he was certain that Crist is gay. He told me that Crist socialized with a gay clique of friends but conceded that he’d never actually seen Crist become intimate with another man.
So how can he be sure Crist is gay?
“The way he acted,” Calderoni said.
How did he act?
Calderoni laughed and said, “Very feminine.”
